Who are we

It’s interesting that Joe Cocker was born on the 20th May, the same day, but not the year, that “The Slovene Joe Cocker” – Daniel Rampre – was born. Daniel achieved recognition in Slovenia through the show “Slovenia’s got talent” show, where he rocked the stage with Cocker’s hits. It’s Daniel’s wish that the memory of the rock legend would never fade and thus he got together a group of excellent musicians to form a band named JOE COCKER TRIBUTE  SLOVENIA.

JOE COCKER TRIBUTE SLOVENIA consists of eight experienced musicians: Robi Lukač on the bass guitar / Tomi Grünfeld on the guitar / Andrej Smrekar on the drums / Matic Čadež or Rok Podakar on the keyboards & backing vocal / saxofon and Hammond Dejan Mesec / Andreja Čamernik Rampre and Andreja Sonc as backing vocals / and the main figure “the Slovene Joe Cocker” – Daniel Rampre. THE BAND PLAYS THE GREATEST HITS BY THE LEGENDARY STAR COCKER.

As well as the legend, also Daniel has been on the scene for a long time. JOE COCKER TRIBUTE SLOVENIA  has produced some very interesting music events, which prove that Slovenes as well as others love listening to this kind of music.

We are sure that our band can add a special something to the mosaic of variety on a number of domestic and foreign stages. At any rate, we make sure that our live performance is something to remember. Energetic music and emotive lyrics which touch us and revive our memories, life stories in which everyone of us can find himself…

In any case, this is the kind of music which has marked past generations and the ones to come.
